====''The Cleveland Show''==== {{Main|The Cleveland Show}} MacFarlane developed a ''Family Guy'' spin-off called ''The Cleveland Show'', which focuses on the character of [[Cleveland Brown]] and his family. The idea for the show originated from a suggestion by ''Family Guy'' writer and voice of Cleveland, Mike Henry. Fox ordered 22 episodes and the series first aired on September 27, 2009. The show, which was picked up to air a first season consisting of 22 episodes,<ref>{{cite magazine|last=Rice |first=Lynette |url=https://ew.com/article/2008/11/10/the-family-guy-2/ |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20090222182949/http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/11/the-family-guy.html |url-status=live |archive-date=February 22, 2009 |title=Fox orders full season of 'Family Guy' spin-off|magazine=Entertainment Weekly|date=November 10, 2008 |access-date=March 3, 2020 }}</ref> was picked up by Fox for a second season, consisting of 13 episodes, bringing the total number to 35 episodes. MacFarlane did, however, play the character Tim the Bear until season 3 episode 10. [[Jess Harnell]] voiced Tim from season 3 episode 11 onwards.
