===Community network software=== By 2003, the Sidney Wireless community project had launched the NodeDB software, to facilitate the work of community networks by mapping the nodes participating in a [[wireless mesh network]]. Nodes needed to be registered in the [[database]], but the software generated a list of adjacent nodes.
