The film grossed $2.7 million worldwide.<ref name="numbers" /> Its first big public viewing was the USA Film Festival in [[Dallas]], followed by the [[Sundance Film Festival]], where it received the Grand Jury Prize. The brothers took the film to the [[Toronto Film Festival]], the [[Cannes Film Festival]], and the New York Film Festival.
