In the fall of 2018, it was announced that Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts, and Mitch Dorge would be going on their first full tour of Canada and the United States in nearly two decades to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ''God Shuffled His Feet''.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/crash-test-dummies-reunion-tour-1.4831751|title=Crash Test Dummies reunite for 25th anniversary of breakout album|access-date=2019-03-30 |publisher=CBC}}</ref> The band continued to tour through 2022 in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their first album, ''[[The Ghosts That Haunt Me]]''.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.pentictonwesternnews.com/entertainment/superman-never-made-any-money-but-crash-test-dummies-will-play-kelowna/|title=Superman never made any money, but Crash Test Dummies will play Kelowna|date=24 May 2022 |access-date=2022-12-07 |publisher=CBC}}</ref>

In early 2023, the band released "Sacred Alphabet", their first song with the full band in over a decade.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.timesonline.com/story/entertainment/local/2023/03/06/crash-test-dummies-singer-talks-tour-that-finishes-in-greensburg/69957577007/|title=Crash Test Dummies singer talks tour that finishes in Greensburg|access-date=2023-03-11|publisher=Beaver County Times}}</ref> The song did not chart and received no substantive airplay on radio in Canada or elsewhere.

2024 and 2025 saw the band touring internationally playing the majority of [[God Shuffled His Feet]] live to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary.  

The current lineup is Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Mitch Dorge and Dan Roberts joined by touring musicians [[Stuart Cameron (musician)|Stuart Cameron]] (guitars and backing vocals) and Leith Fleming-Smith (keyboards and backing vocals).
