==Coaching== On 21 September 2007, [[Chelsea F.C.|Chelsea]] reportedly approached Redknapp to become [[Avram Grant]]'s assistant, as Chelsea's owner billionaire [[Roman Abramovich]] looked to shake up [[Stamford Bridge (stadium)|Stamford Bridge]]'s coaching staff, though no appointment was forthcoming.{{citation needed|date=December 2018}} On 11 December 2008, it was announced Jamie Redknapp would become coach of Chelsea reserves two days a week whilst studying for his UEFA coaching badges.
