The [[Georgian architecture|Georgian]] [[Macclesfield Town Hall|Town Hall]] was designed by [[Francis Goodwin (architect)|Francis Goodwin]] in 1823. 

Macclesfield is home to an [[Augustus Pugin]] church, [[St Alban's Church, Macclesfield|St Alban's]] on Chester Road.

The former [[Parkside Hospital|Cheshire County Asylum]] on Pavilion Way was designed by Robert Griffiths in Italianate style. It is now converted into apartments.
