===Recombinant blood clotting factor VIII=== It is the recombinant form of [[factor VIII]], a blood-clotting protein that is administered to patients with the bleeding disorder [[hemophilia]], who are unable to produce factor VIII in quantities sufficient to support normal blood coagulation.<ref name="pmid|21056743">{{Cite journal | last1 = Manco-Johnson | first1 = M.
