The main venue for cultural events in the city is ''Dům kultury Teplice'' ('House of Culture Teplice'). It was built in 1981–1986. The [[Krušnohorské Theatre]] is the city's main venue for [[opera]]s and plays. It was opened in 1924. Teplice is the home of the [[North Czech Philharmonic Teplice]], which was founded in 1838.
