=== Literature === Two ''X-COM'' novels have been published based on the first game in the series: [[Diane Duane]]'s ''X-COM: UFO Defense - A Novel'' (1995, {{ISBN|0-7615-0235-1}}) and [[Vladimir Vasilyev (writer)|Vladimir Vasilyev]]'s ''Enemy Unknown'' (1997).
