The next episode of ''EastEnders'', broadcast on 11 December 2020, was dedicated to Windsor's memory. Windsor's funeral took place on 8 January 2021. Her body was cremated at [[Golders Green Crematorium]]. The service was attended by [[Anna Karen]], [[Christopher Biggins]], [[Ross Kemp]], [[David Walliams]] and [[Matt Lucas]], among others. Floral decorations on Windsor's coffin spelled out the words "The Dame", "Saucy" (Windsor's catchphrase in the ''Carry On'' films) and "The Queen Peggy".
