===Modern era=== Blue Note has seen a continuity in releases from older artists such as Shorter, [[Charles Lloyd (jazz musician)|Charles Lloyd]], [[Louis Hayes]], and [[Lonnie Smith (organist)|Dr. Lonnie Smith]].
