=== Post-war === All ships of the class went into reserve in 1946-47. Six were sold to [[South America]]n countries in the early 1950s, and served for many more years: ''Brooklyn'' and ''Nashville'' to Chile, ''St. Louis'' and ''Philadelphia'' to Brazil, and ''Boise'' and ''Phoenix'' to Argentina.
