The specific activity of radionuclides is particularly relevant when it comes to select them for production for therapeutic pharmaceuticals, as well as for [[immunoassays]] or other diagnostic procedures, or assessing radioactivity in certain environments, among several other biomedical applications.<ref>Duursma, E.
