== Influences == One of Thiebaud's students from Sacramento City College was the artist [[Fritz Scholder]] (1937β2005), who went on to become a major influence in the direction of American Indian art through his instruction at the [[Institute of American Indian Arts]] in [[Santa Fe, New Mexico]] (1964β1969).
