====Camp Deerlea==== Burr St, Fairfield, Conn. Lot size: 3.72 Acres. Mildred and Hugh Allison donated the cabin and space for this Girl Scout day camp on their home property in Fairfield. Opened in 1957, and was still running in 1973. Was supposed to open in 1956, however the camp needed improvements of running water and sanitary facilities, so they collected donated equipment and the girls sold cookies to raise money. For Brownies and intermediate scouts of the Fairfield district. Five Units: Shadyland, Forest Haven, Oak Hill, and two others. In May 1988 the house was sold.
