'''Bay View''' is a [[village (United States)#Ohio|village]] in [[Erie County, Ohio|Erie County]], [[Ohio]], United States. The population was 608 at the [[2020 United States census|2020 census]]. It is part of the [[Sandusky metropolitan area|Metropolitan Statistical Area]].

The village consists primarily of summer homes (many converted to year-round use) and a few small businesses.{{citation needed|date=June 2023}} The community lies on the shores of [[Sandusky Bay]].

The [[population density]] was {{convert|2257.1|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 342 housing units at an average density of {{convert|1221.4|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 96.8% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.9% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.8% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 1.1% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.5% of the population.

There were 279 households, of which 22.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.6% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 9.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 38.4% were non-families. 30.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the village was 98.27% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.29% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.72% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.72% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.73% of the population.

There were 292 households, out of which 25.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.9% were non-families. 27.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.37 and the average family size was 2.87.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 23.4% under the age of 18, 4.9% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 29.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 99.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.5 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $41,167, and the median income for a family was $48,977. Males had a median income of $39,722 versus $22,721 for females.
