As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 1,394 people, 464 households, and 360 families living in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|923.2|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 487 housing units at an average density of {{convert|322.5|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 92.3% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 2.8% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.9% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.8% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 6.0% of the population.

There were 464 households, of which 50.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.4% were non-families. 18.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.00 and the average family size was 3.45.

The racial makeup of the city was 95.71% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.10% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.29% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.10% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 1.91% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.91% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 7.53% of the population.

There were 359 households, out of which 44.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.2% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.9% were non-families. 18.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. ==Transportation==
[[Amtrak]]’s ''[[Empire Builder]]'', which operates between [[Seattle]]/[[Portland, Oregon|Portland]] and [[Chicago]], passes through the town on [[BNSF Railway|BNSF]] tracks, but makes no stop. The [[Fargo station|nearest station]] is located in [[Fargo, North Dakota|Fargo]], {{convert|10|mi}} to the west.
