Minnesota Highway [[Minnesota State Highway 27|27]] and Minnesota Highway [[Minnesota State Highway 47|47]] are two of the main routes in the community. Highway 27 leads southwest {{convert|3|mi|0}} to [[Wahkon, Minnesota|Wahkon]] and {{convert|12|mi}} to [[Onamia, Minnesota|Onamia]], while Highway 47 leads north {{convert|15|mi}} up the east shore of Mille Lacs Lake to [[Malmo, Minnesota|Malmo]]. Together, the two highways leave Isle to the southeast, with Highway 27 leading east {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Woodland, Kanabec County, Minnesota|Woodland]] and Highway 47 leading south {{convert|22|mi}} to [[Ogilvie, Minnesota|Ogilvie]].
