The antipode of Kit Carson is Saint Paul Island (French Antarctic island in the Indian Ocean). Kit Carson county is one the few American places whose antipode is located on land, and not in the open sea.

The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females, there were 86.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 81.3 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $19,531, and the median income for a family was $37,500. Males had a median income of $34,375 versus $16,818 for females.
