Manerplaw was [[Fall of Manerplaw|captured and occupied]] by [[Tatmadaw]] and [[Democratic Karen Buddhist Army]] (DKBA) troops on 27 January 1995 during the [[Fall of Manerplaw]] and later abandoned.<ref name="KHRG2">{{cite web |title=The Fall of Manerplaw.
