'''Robert A. McConnell''' (1914–2006) was an American physicist and [[Parapsychology|parapsychologist]].

McConnell was born in [[Pennsylvania]] in 1914, and studied at [[Carnegie Institute of Technology]] obtaining a B.S. in physics in 1935 and a Ph.D. from the [[University of Pittsburgh]] in 1947. He worked as a physicist at a U.S. Naval aircraft factory and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology [[Radiation Laboratory]]. He earned a [[Doctor of Philosophy]] degree in [[engineering physics]].
