It occupies the northeast corner of Chippewa County and is bordered by [[Rusk County, Wisconsin|Rusk County]] to the north and [[Taylor County, Wisconsin|Taylor County]] to the east. The racial makeup of the town was 99.55% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.22% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.22% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]]. The population was 33.4% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 27.8% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 105.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 114 males. The median income for a household in the town was $30,208, and the median income for a family was $33,125. Males had a median income of $27,750 versus $22,813 for females.
