The '''Standards and Privileges Committee''' is a former committee of the [[United Kingdom]] [[British House of Commons|House of Commons]] that existed from 1995 to 2013.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Search results|url=http://archives.parliament.uk/index.php?|access-date=2020-09-12|website=Parliament Archives|language=en-GB|archive-date=2020-11-06|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201106044248/https://archives.parliament.uk/|url-status=live}}</ref> The committee was established in 1995 to replace the earlier Committee of Privileges. It consisted of 10 [[Member of Parliament|Members of Parliament]] that sat to make recommendations to the House on complaints of breach of [[parliamentary privilege]]. The committee was appointed by the House of Commons to oversee the work of the [[Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards]].
