'''Valley View''' is a [[village (United States)#Ohio|village]] in [[Cuyahoga County, Ohio]], United States. The population was 1,897 at the [[2020 United States census|2020 census]]. A suburb of [[Cleveland]], it is a part of the [[Greater Cleveland|Cleveland metropolitan area]].

==History==
Valley View was incorporated as a village in 1919 after it broke away from [[Independence, Ohio]], after an argument over the location of the schools.

The racial makeup of the village was 96.9% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.9% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.1% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.4% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.4% from two or more races.
