However, the source (Linti, p.41) doesn't mention rectifiacation; this geometrical operation is called cantellation, which is also the term used in the cited source. See Rectification (geometry); that is a different operation. (The rhombicuboctahedron *is* the rectification of another polyhedron, the cuboctahedron; but not of the cube or the octahedron)
