The only relationship to the topic of the article is that a part with the wrong hardness contributed to the disaster. Is this disaster so famous that much of the public first heard about Vickers hardness from the reporting on it or something? It's not like including the mars climate orbiter or gimli glider on an article on units, or ariane v88 in one on floating point. The hardness test didn't contribute to the disaster.
