Vassy ({{#invoke:IPA|main}}) is a former commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Valdallière.<ref>Arrêté préfectoral 13 October 2015 Template:In lang</ref>

It is said to be the origin of the surnames de Vesci and Vesely in England, introduced after the Norman Conquest in 1066.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>
