The Plagiarism Project was undertaken by Columbia University in order to give people access to musical works involved in copyright disputes. Frequently, these works are difficult to find (e.g. Ray Repps' "Till You," a complaining work in an infringement claim against Andrew Lloyd Webber). This site's case list provides access to recordings or Midi transcriptions of the contested works, allowing listeners to form their own decisions and allowing students of copyright to better understand what qualifies as infringement and why.
