===Agreed direct usage with minting rights=== The euro is the sole currency of 20 [[European Union member states|EU member states]]: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.
