Akeanon is spoken by a majority of the people, while Malaynon is spoken in [[Malay, Aklan|Malay]] and Buruanganon is spoken in [[Buruanga]]. [[Hiligaynon language|Hiligaynon]] is also widely spoken and understood in the province.
