The Upa (Template:Langx, {{#invoke:IPA|main}}) is a river in Tula Oblast, Russia, and one of the main tributaries of the Oka.

The river is Template:Convert long, and has a drainage basin of Template:Convert.<ref name=gvr>«Река УПА», Russian State Water Registry</ref> The city of Tula is situated on its banks. The name of the river is of Baltic origin. This is probably one of the oldest baltic hydronims. Lithuanian word "upė", latvian word "upe" in English means "river", in russian means "река"; <ref>E.M. Pospelov, Geograficheskie nazvaniya mira (Moscow: Russkie slovari, 1998), p. 423: "cf. Lithuanian ùpė, upìs, upỹs, Latvian upe 'river, stream.'"</ref>
